ΣIU Association International in alliance with Miraísmo International Association (AMI) and the Institute of Human Rights and Freedom of Religion will bring together experts and specialists from different international organizations, religious NGOs, from civil society and academics from diverse cultural, religious and political backgrounds at their next International Congress.

People with outstanding careers in this field will share their experiences and concerns and, in addition, there will be an exchange of current research results on issues related to advances, challenges and successful practices in guaranteeing Freedom of Religion or belief and its relationship with migratory processes.

The congress will be divided in two days:

• September 15, “Contributions of religion for the construction of a culture of peace in an interconnected world” will be held at the emblematic Palais des Nations of the United Nations focused on the right to Freedom of Religion and interreligious dialogue in the context of globalization. The debate will address three points:

1. Towards a global citizenship in peace
2. Advances and recommendations to guarantee cultural and religious diversity for peaceful coexistence, towards a global citizenship in peace
3. Opportunities of religion in the digital era and nonviolence.

• September 16, “Migration and Religion: opportunities and challenges to build a culture of peace” will address Freedom of Religion in three topics:

1. Freedom of Religion without discrimination in migratory contexts.
2. Freedom of Religion in educational spaces.
3. The peaceful coexistence in a diverse planet.

Many inspiring conferences, with discussion panels and interactive workshops that will allow you to delve deeper into the subject and actively contribute to the global dialogue.
